This Focus on Integrated Treatment (FIT)
online course provides a thorough introduction to one of the central tenets of integrated treatment: matching interventions to clients' readiness to change their behaviors and make steps toward recovery. Topics covered include the stages of change theory and the stages of treatment model, interventions appropriate to each stage of treatment, and accurate assessment of a client's stage of motivation. Modules present the stagewise treatment groups and the goals and interventions appropriate to each. Stagewise interventions for individual clients are also discussed, and videos present demonstrations of stagewise treatment and group work.
