This Focus on Integrated Treatment (FIT)
online course provides a basic introduction to cognitive behavioral therapy in the co-occurring-disorders treatment setting. In addition to presenting the underlying principles of CBT, modules illustrate how to conduct a functional analysis and teach coping skills and successful problem-solving. Modules present an overview of cognitive behavioral therapy for anxiety, depression, and trauma, including sections on breathing retraining, or relaxation breathing, and cognitive restructuring. Social skills training and CBT techniques related to goal setting are also covered.

21. Social Skills Training
6 CE hours may be earned upon successful course completion. CE hours can be applied towards a variety of IC&RC certifications, including CCDP and CCDPD.
