Mental health services, addiction recovery

Hazelden's mental health services offer a broad continuum of professional services designed exclusively to meet the unique emotional and mental health needs of individuals in recovery from alcohol, drugs and related diseases and their families.

Mental Health Centers

Mental health services are provided for clients in Hazelden's residential programs as well as for the general community on an outpatient basis.

Hazelden's mental health staff provide professional assessments as well as consultative and treatment services for recovering youths, adults and their family members. Built on the experience of a holistic approach to care for years, our services insure that clients receive high quality, professional mental health and counseling services consistent with Twelve Step principles.

Our recovery-sensitive mental health services are designed to meet the unique needs of youth and adults in recovery from addiction and co-occurring disorders, as well as the needs of their family members.

Hazelden's mental health services are also of great help to people who have recently completed primary treatment and are transitioning back into everyday home and work life. Some of the difficulties we treat include:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety and stress-related conditions
  • Post-traumatic stress
  • Marital and intimacy issues
  • Family and interpersonal relationship problems
  • Vocational adjustment problems
  • Co-occurring disorders, such as alcohol and drug addiction combined with gambling, eating disorders or other compulsive behaviors

To find out how we can help you, just call us. Our staff will meet with you to assess your needs and determine the most appropriate way for you to begin receiving the care you require.
