Hazelden offers services in two convenient locations in New York City, both in Manhattan. Hazelden brings more than 60 years of addiction treatment services to the neighborhoods of Chelsea and Tribeca. Hazelden’s programs help men and women, youth and adults, recover from substance abuse and addiction through its world-class residential programs, outpatient programs, its commitment to ongoing continuing care, and its family programs.
Our New York location serves as an access point for all the national resources of Hazelden's expertise in addiction recovery.
Programs and services
Sober Collegiate Housing
Offered in Tribeca
Hazelden's sober collegiate housing provides young adults in recovery from addiction an independent living environment with fully integrated support services, access to many recreational activities and special events. Tribeca Twelve is ideal for young adults attending college or planning to return to college who are looking for an exciting and welcoming place to live, develop healthy friendships and achieve success. Intensive outpatient program
Offered in Chelsea and Tribeca
Our intensive outpatient program works under the same principles as a residential program and provides individualized focus within the program structure. Each client receives an individualized treatment plan as well as individualized continuing care recommendations. Throughout the treatment experience, clients actively participate in educational lectures, group therapy, one-to-one counseling, Twelve Step meetings, spirituality work and peer interaction.
Family program
Offered in Chelsea
The family program is free and open to the public. The program explores major aspects of the interaction of addiction and family dynamics -- family disease concept, responsibility, defining self, etc. "Family" refers to anyone who knows and cares about a chemically dependent person. The educational program is held every Monday night and is on a 12-week rotating schedule.
Alcohol and drug assessments
Offered in Chelsea and Tribeca
At Hazelden, we understand and do not assume a diagnosis of alcoholism or other addiction. Without expert assessment and diagnosis, the struggle for answers is often an exhausting search that offers no resolution. Make an appointment for a professional evaluation. Our expert alcohol and drug assessment process provides an accurate diagnosis along with recommendations for follow-up care.
