  Hazelden, Center City - Campus Visiting Hours and Expectations

Special attention to the dignity and respect of patients is reflected in the peaceful, well-maintained grounds of the campus. Several miles of scenic walking paths are tucked among pine trees and rolling terrain, lending to the serenity of Hazelden. Visiting hours: Sundays and Holidays, 1:30-5:00 pm. Wednesdays 6:30-8:00 pm.

Visits from alumni must be cleared by unit staff. Call 888-257-7810, ext. 4588 or email alumni@hazelden.org for approval.

Confidentiality of all patients is to be respected.

Visitors must park in designated parking lots only.

Check in at the Nelson Bradley dining facility located directly left of the stone Admissions wall. Register each time you visit.

Visitors are to wear their Visitor name badge at all times while on campus.

Hazelden does not offer cafeteria services to visitors.

All packages must be opened in front of a Hazelden staff member.

Do not bring any over-the-counter medications for the person you are visiting.

Patients are not allowed in personal vehicles, or may leave campus.

Pets are not permitted on campus. This guideline does not apply to service animals such as seeing-eye dogs. If asked, owners must show proof the animal is current with all required vaccinations.

Cameras and video recorders are not allowed on campus. Camera cell phones may not be used on Hazelden property.
