Most recently, Wruck was associate vice president for Development and director of gift planning at the University of Minnesota Medical Foundation. Earlier in his career, he was director of charitable gift planning and associate director of development at the University of Minnesota Foundation. "I'm very excited about joining an organization with an international reputation for quality," said Wruck. "I also look forward to supporting Hazelden's mission of offering hope and transformation for lifelong recovery from addiction." Wruck has been honored with awards and recognition for his service as an outstanding professional fundraiser and is a community leader who has served on the boards of numerous organizations. Wruck holds a master's degree in business administration from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota and a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Utah. He lives in Woodbury, Minnesota. Wruck will succeed Anne Hovland, who retired from Hazelden late last year.
