That's why many schools in Bucks have also implemented bullying prevention plans like the Olweus program, which was developed in Norway in the 1980s. Designed for elementary and middle schools, Olweus's goals are to encourage students to seek help in bullying incidents, officials said. Over the last eight years, Olweus initiatives have been implemented in at least one school in the Bristol, Bristol Township, Centennial, Council Rock, Morrisville, Neshaminy, Central Bucks, Pennridge and Quakertown school districts.
