Postdoctoral Psychology Fellowship

How to apply

Application Policy

Recruitment to the Hazelden Psychology Postdoctoral Fellowship is competitive. In the evaluation of postdoctoral applicants, emphasis is placed on the concordance of the applicant’s training, interests and experiences with the primary training, research, teaching and clinical opportunities offered through our facility. Evaluations also emphasize the individual's previous clinical training, course work, professional attributes, interpersonal and writing skills, and supporting letters of recommendations. One letter of recommendation is required from the director of training at the applicant's doctoral program indicating that the individual is ready to begin the postdoctoral training. The usual starting time for the postdoctoral fellowship is negotiable between July and September. A subgroup of applicants will be invited for interview.
