Throughout a lifetime of recovery, Hazelden's Renewal and Lodge programs are a source of information, inspiration, help, and support--focusing on common issues faced in recovery and providing tools to revitalize our daily practices. Join us soon to affirm, strengthen, and celebrate your recovery. The Renewal Center offers a variety of affordable retreats and programs and can customize a package to fit your budget. For maximum personal benefit and minimal disruption to other guests, please plan to attend Renewal Center retreats and other programs in their entirety.

• Double-occupancy room - $204 per day
• Private room - $291 per day
• Daybreak (program and meals only) - $116 per day

2010 Per Day Base Rates

• Double-occupancy room - $208 per day
• Private room - $297 per day
• Daybreak (program and meals only) - $118 per day

Every visit to the Dan Anderson Renewal Center includes:

• Tuition and materials
• Opportunities for one-to-one counseling
• Lodging
• Daily staff lectures on the Twelve Steps and Big Book
• Nutritious meals designed for people in recovery
• Yoga classes Sunday through Wednesday
• Hiking and walking trails, both wooded and lakeside
• Evening alumni lectures
• Fitness center, including pool, jogging track, basketball, and racquetball courts
• Morning and evening group sharing
• Meditation Center
• Serenity Corner bookstore

Optional experiences (for an additional fee) include:

• Seated chair massage, available for 15 or 30 minutes
• Reiki, a Japanese technique that promotes circulation, stress relief, and restores vital energy in the body
• Equine-assisted learning, working side by side with specially selected horses that reflect your old ideas and hidden strengths

Payment - The Renewal Center accepts checks as well as Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover Card.  

Group Discount - Register together as a group of three or more and receive a 15% discount.

Deposit - Upon registration, we require a deposit equivalent to one night's stay.

Cancellation - In the event that you must cancel your reservation, we will refund your deposit minus a $25 administrative fee if you notify us 21 days prior to your arrival date.

Scholarships - Limited financial aid, based on demonstrated need and availability of funds, is available for Renewal Center guests. Request a scholarship application when you call. 

Ground transportation - A Hazelden vehicle will transport guests who arrive at the Minneapolis-St. Paul airport, bus terminal, or train terminal to the Renewal Center. Arrangements can be made when making your Renewal Center reservation. Transportation fees are based on distance traveled.

Services for Persons with Disabilities - If you have a disability and special arrangements are needed, please contact us as soon as possible.  Reasonable advance notice is helpful.
