Awakening of the Heart: Moving From Old Habits to New Contentment

Center City, MN

Dan Anderson Renewal Center Weekend Retreat

As addicts, we lived lives of "anxious apartness"—Bill Wilson's words. As people in recovery, those old habits of desire, aversion and folly can still haunt us. Overcoming them is a matter of seeing the values of compassion, wisdom and awakening.  In this workshop, through prayer and meditation, we will investigate those sublime and, oh, so human qualities.
