Welcome to Second Sunday, your opportunity each month to:

Trust is the foundation for healthy relationships, providing security and confidence that nurtures growth, love and intimacy. Family members and friends in addictive relationships often have difficulty trusting others due to their loved ones' inconsistent behaviors. 
If you are looking to build trust within your relationships, please join family counselor Anita Bont as we look at the impact addiction has on trust within relationships and more importantly, how recovery can help rebuild that trust. 
Anita will guide us through reflections on:

Meet Your Second Sunday Host

Anita Bont

Anita Bont
Supervisor, Family Program

Anita Bont is supervisor of the Family Program at Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation in Center City, MN. She is a licensed alcohol and drug counselor who received her master's degree from the Hazelden Graduate School of Addiction Studies. She is passionate about the healing journey for family members and those in recovery and for the inherent need for healthy relationships. She is committed to helping people create hope for meaningful and satisfying lives in all aspects of an individual including physical, emotional, relational and spiritual dimensions. Anita is also a licensed marriage and family therapist who received her master's degree from the University of Wisconsin Stout. She has 10 years of private practice experience working with couples, families and individuals to assist in finding balance for life and healing for relationships. 

Hazelden's Second Sunday is held on our campus in Center City, Minnesota. Each event includes a lecture by staff or a guest speaker, as well as relaxation and group discussions open to anyone 18 years and older. Friends and family are always welcome to join you for the experience.
