Capturing Therapeutic Moments with Clients

Everyone today is hungry for genuine moments of connection. Join your colleagues at this lunch-and-learn event, when experienced therapist David Anderson will break down the difference between counseling and therapy with substance use disorder clients, and help identify opportunities for productive and powerful counseling sessions. Anderson will serve as the clinical director at Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation's new outpatient drug and alcohol addiction treatment center in Bellevue (opening this spring).

David Anderson

David Anderson, LMHC, CDP   
David Anderson has a master's degree in marital and family therapy from Seattle Pacific University and has been helping youth and adults in Washington overcome addiction, depression, trauma and other mental health conditions for almost 35 years. Most recently, he spent 16 years at EvergreenHealth Monroe (formerly Valley General Hospital) as manager and then director of its Recovery Center.

The Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School of Addiction Studies is approved to provide Continuing Education Credits.
