YOUR SPEAKER

Beverly Conyers

Beverly Conyers, MA, has been writing about addiction, recovery and the process of change since 2003, after discovering that her 20-year-old daughter was addicted to heroin. In her newest book, Find Your Light: Practicing Mindfulness to Recover from Anything, Conyers explores how mindfulness enriches recovery by teaching us to let go of self-defeating thought patterns, awaken our innate strengths and talents, and discover the sense of meaning and purpose that lay the foundation for genuine happiness.
