About the Presenter

Gene Murphy Gene Murphy followed his calling to priesthood later in life, leading him to Wisconsin seminary and into his role as a priest in the Diocese of Superior, Wisconsin. After retiring this year, Murphy continues to celebrate the Sacraments and is actively involved in Alcoholics Anonymous. As someone who has always been deeply interested in life's aging process, the various stages of life and the unique characteristics of those stages, Murphy is excited to share his research on aging, including its advantages and how it relates to recovery.
