| Hazelden's experience treating healthcare professionals spans more than 50 years. Hazelden works with state diversion and monitoring programs to provide healthcare professionals with an array of structured treatment services for alcoholism and drug dependency. Our programs effectively treat addicted healthcare professionals who have sophisticated defense mechanisms and present unique recovery challenges.
Our treatment services rely on the active involvement of the referent or diversion and monitoring program professional to develop a course of treatment tailored to the clinical needs of the patient. We provide addicted healthcare professionals with a continuity of care, from the moment a problem with alcohol or drug addiction first surfaces, all the way through the recovery program, continuing care, re-entry into professional practice, and throughout their sobriety. Hazelden is truly a lifelong resource for support, fellowship, information, and education.
