This program will help you effectively use the Clinical Administrator's Guidebook to assess and enhance the way you provide treatment for co-occurring disorders. Interaction with instructors and colleagues will help you apply concepts and materials to your own setting.
Training Goal
The CDP Clinical Administrator's Training will help participants apply information and approaches within seven areas of organizational effectiveness to deliver the best possible services to patients with co-occurring disorders.
Objectives
• Discuss the philosophy and research behind CDP
• Interpret comprehensive guides to evaluate your program's operational effectiveness for treating patients with
non-severe co-occurring disorders: the DDCAT (Dual Diagnosis Capability in Addiction Treatment) and the
DDCMHT Dual Diagnosis Capability in Mental Health Treatment)
• Identify system, program, and staff level issues and challenges for the development of integrated services.
