Transportation and parking
Hazelden Chicago (867 N. Dearborn St.) is located 1.5 blocks north of Chicago Avenue and one block west of State Street, in the heart of the "Gold Coast" neighborhood.
From Union or Northwestern train stations
Taxis are available outside the station. Fares average $6 plus tip.
CTA Bus from the train station: Walk west five blocks to Dearborn Street. Catch the Clark #22 bus going north on Dearborn. Get off the bus at Chestnut Street. Hazelden Chicago is a half block north between Chestnut and Delaware Streets. Bus fare is $1.75.

CTA Train: RED line train to Chicago and State, walk one block north and one block west. Or take the BROWN line to Chicago and Franklin, walk four blocks east and one block north.
Metro Train: Take the train to either the Northwestern or Union Stations, take a cab from there (about $5.00).
Parking
Metered parking spots are available on all streets surrounding Hazelden Chicago. Meters west of Dearborn allow 30 minutes per quarter; east of Dearborn allow 15 minutes per quarter. The maximum time on all meters is two hours.
Garage parking is also available and most garages charge $8-$12 for two hours. Garages in the immediate vicinity of Hazelden Chicago include:
- Clark Street between Chicago and Chestnut (west side of street)
- Clark Street between Oak and Maple (west side of street)
- Clark Street between Elm and Maple (west side of street)
- State Street between Bellevue and Oak (east side of street)
- Chestnut between Wabash and State (north side of street)
- 900 N. Michigan Bloomingdale's building (enter on Rush Street or Walton)
