Hazelden announces new international distribution agreement with Eurospan
CENTER CITY, MINN. (July 13, 2007) Hazelden, the world's largest publisher of materials related to alcohol and drug abuse prevention and addiction treatment and recovery, has announced an exclusive arrangement with the Eurospan Group, a London-based publishing distributor, to distribute published materials to professional customers internationally.

Hazelden Publishing and the London-based Eurospan signed an agreement, effective on July 1, naming Eurospan as the exclusive international distributor for Hazelden's portfolio of nearly 2,000 prevention, treatment and recovery books, curricula, DVDs, and other products intended for use in schools, treatment facilities, prisons, hospitals and other clinical venues.

"We hope this agreement will significantly grow the number of people who have already benefited from our publications in the U.S., Canada and internationally, as those individuals look for help in their struggle with alcohol and drug abuse and addiction," said Nick Motu, COO of Hazelden Publishing.

"Eurospan is honored to have been selected as Hazelden's new international partner," said Michael Geelan, CEO of Eurospan. "As well as ensuring a continuity of supply for pre-existing customers, we intend to bring Hazelden's ground-breaking publishing program to the attention of new audiences throughout the world through regular direct marketing campaigns and sales initiatives."

The Hazelden/Eurospan agreement covers the UK, 48 countries in continental Europe, 20 countries in the Middle East and Africa, eight countries in Central Asia, all South East Asian territories, and Australia.
