Buddhism and the Twelve Steps NEW
Center City, MN
Buddhism and the Twelve Steps share a deep connection. Each is a path of freedom from suffering. They are for people of all religions and nonreligions and value community, individual empowerment, and a deep connection to something vast and good. This retreat is for those new to or deeply familiar with Buddhism. We will use teachings, dialogue, and meditation to cultivate our capacity for a joyful, compassionate engagement with life on life's terms, or as we say in Zen, life "as it is."
Ben Connelly is a Soto Zen Buddhist priest and dharma heir with 20 years of experience in the Twelve Step community. Author of Inside the Grass Hut, he travels across the U.S. teaching Zen and secular mindfulness.
