Love and Romance in Recovery - Second Sunday
Center City, MN
February 12, 2017
9 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
This presentation is based on the chapter "Love and Romance" in John's book Being Sober and Becoming Happy. John will discuss why alcoholics and addicts have such difficulty with love and romance, and the differences between loving someone and wanting them, with special consideration to the role of self-centeredness. We will also look at how the Twelve Traditions of AA and Al-Anon can apply to having happy long-term relationships.
