Welcome to Second Sunday, your opportunity each month to:

Life is predictably unpredictable. Our commitment to remain sober is tested on a daily basis. Join others in Twelve Step recovery for a day with guest speaker Don Elverd, to talk about resilience in recovery and in life.

We will learn the physical, emotional, spiritual and behavioral factors held by individuals who endure high levels of trauma, gleaned from studies done with military prisoners of war, sexual assault victims, and persons with congenital physical deformities or loss of limbs. Then we will have an opportunity to discuss how we can apply these learnings to improve our own resiliency and strengthen our lives in recovery.
