Just as the stately Victorian features of Hazelden's Fellowship Club in St. Paul, Minn. have been well preserved, the basic tenets of Twelve Step recovery have thrived there for 50 years.

The library, also part of the refurbishment project, has served as a special meeting place for residents and staff.

The living and sleeping areas provide a warm, home-like atmosphere in which clients can relax and continue their recovery journey.

The Fellowship Club mansion, or main building, was refurbished in 2000 to retain the feel of the 1800s. The woodwork and stained glass windows were redone to restore their original beauty.

The living room is a popular spot for relaxing and talking.

The recreation room serves as a special place where residents can kick back, play games, and bond with fellow residents.
