| Hazelden Foundation is proud of its mission to help people find recovery from the disease of addiction.
If you or your family do not have the resources to pay for all of your care, or you do not have insurance that covers addiction treatment, we may be able to help. Hazelden has some funds available for financial aid (we call it "patient aid") to patients and their families based on income, assets, and financial needs. We first determine if a person meets our clinical standards. Admission is then also subject to bed availability in the case of residential treatment. You should also be aware that Hazelden has contracts with some insurers, and we encourage you to discuss with us any health insurance you may have, which may cover treatment. Once our pre-admission screening is complete, additional information on the potential availability of patient aid will be provided through a Hazelden financial case manager. We will treat your questions and any information you provide us with confidentiality and courtesy. For more information about the guidelines and determination of eligibility, read our full Patient Aid Policy. |
