Conveniently located in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan, Hazelden provides a warm and inviting place that focuses on helping men and women recover from alcoholism and drug addiction through its world-class outpatient programs, its commitment through ongoing continuing care, and its family programs.
Professionals at Hazelden New York attend classes presented by experts in the addictions field that provide a foundation for understanding addiction, treatment and recovery. A broad range of topics are discussed that give clinicians the confidence to address addiction and recovery issues with their patients and clients. In addition, interviewing skills are covered in depth along with the opportunity to role play and develop skills.
