As a spiritual care provider, your help is often sought by family members who are concerned about a loved one's addictive behavior.

The goal of the Spiritual Care Provider Professionals in Residence program is to provide you with an understanding of chemical dependence and your role in helping persons affected by addiction recover and heal -- physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

In the Spiritual Care Provider Program you will:

• participate in the Family Program in order to understand how addiction affects relationships
• identify opportunities for preventing substance abuse in your community of faith
• consult with colleagues to share and learn strategies about substance abuse
• earn contact hours for continued certification
