(NEW YORK) Stephen I. Sadove, chairman and chief executive officer of Saks Fifth Avenue, will be honored on October 23, 2007 at "Fresh Start,"Hazelden's New York awards dinner to benefit programs for youth and families. The already sold-out event, which is expected to raise more than $1 million, will be hosted by Bill Moyers at The Pierre Hotel and will feature a performance by Judy Collins, a longtime Hazelden supporter. Sadove will receive the William D. Hassett Distinguished Leadership Award for his philanthropy and community leadership in supporting addiction treatment and prevention programs. Ronald L. Frasch, president and chief merchandising officer of Saks Fifth Avenue, will serve as dinner chair. Hazelden is a national nonprofit organization that helps people reclaim their lives after addiction. Hosted by Bill Moyers, Honorary Chair is The Hon. Paul Volcker, and Chair is Ronald Frasch. |
