  Susan Funk Jepson named Senior Vice President of Marketing at Hazelden
Susan Funk JepsonCENTER CITY, Minn., (March 29, 2007) - Susan Funk Jepson, an accomplished healthcare executive with more than 18 years of experience in strategic marketing, business and product development, has been named Senior Vice President of Marketing at Hazelden.

"I am pleased to welcome someone with the caliber of experience that Susan has to lead marketing at Hazelden," said President and CEO Ellen Breyer. "Susan has extensive experience and a successful track record of developing innovative strategies for the marketing of health care products and services."

Before joining Hazelden, Jepson was Vice President of Market Strategy and Business Development at UnitedHealth Group in Minnetonka, Minn. She has held a number of positions at UnitedHealth Group during an eight-year career with the organization.

Previously, Jepson was President of Mosaic Enterprises, Minneapolis. She also worked in a variety of positions at ReliaStar Financial Corp., Minneapolis and was a nurse at the University of Minnesota Hospital and Clinics. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the College of St. Benedict, St. John's University, Collegeville, Minn., and a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Minnesota.

Jepson is active in community affairs and public speaking. She lives in Minnetonka, Minnesota, with her husband and three sons.
