A New Direction: A Cognitive-Behavioral Treatment Curriculum
This multi-format, multi-module curriculum of client workbooks, facilitator guides, guidebooks, and videos will help the correction professional to deliver targeted treatment that enables an offender to recognize and overcome criminal and addictive thinking.
Who should attend
- Criminal justice professionals who work with adults and juveniles
- Criminal justice professionals from states that have recently passed legislation on treatment requirements for incarcerated populations
Participants will be able to
- deliver targeted treatment that enables offenders to recognize and overcome criminal and addictive thinking patterns
- meet offenders wherever they are in the continuum of treatment and recovery
- address all critical aspects of an offender's life with components that can be used independently or sequentially
- equip offenders with new coping skills, eliminating destructive behaviors
