| Meth Community Mobilization Training
This workshop helps community-based teams build a long-lasting coalition to prevent and respond to the methamphetamine problem in their community. It gives practical strategies based on evidence about effective community-based approaches.

Participants will be able to
- assess the specific problems created by meth production and use in their community
- describe evidence about effective approaches in preventing meth production and use
- create a strategic plan for preventing and responding to meth production and use, based on their desired outcomes
- mobilize every sector of the community
- select concrete indicators to evaluate meth prevention efforts in their community
- recruit coalition members to fill essential roles and to provide support
- create a strong coalition with active members who have the passion and commitment to sustain efforts
- identify local, state, and federal resources for information and funding
- integrate meth prevention efforts with initiatives targeting alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs
- plan and implement a regional meth media campaign that will spread meth prevention efforts throughout the community
