Frances Williams, M.S., L.M.F.T., LIC. S.W., Psy.D., L.P.
Fran Williams is a psychologist, educator, and clinician whose work with individuals, families, and groups has specialized in addressing post-traumatic stress disorder and dissociative and personality disorders. Fran is a senior clinician at Hazelden's Mental Health Center in Center City, Minnesota, where she counsels patients who have addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders. She also conducts trauma recovery and eating disorder groups. Fran is an adjunct professor at the Hazelden Graduate School of Addiction Studies where she received the schools 2007 award for academic excellence in teaching.
Brené Brown, Ph.D., Speaker
Dr. Brené Brown is an educator, writer, activist, and researcher. She is a member of the research faculty at the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work, where she has spent the past eight years studying shame, empathy, and vulnerability--and the effect these powerful emotions have on the way we live, love, parent, work, and build relationships. Dr. Brown is the author of I Thought It Was Just Me (but it isn't): Telling the Truth about Perfectionism, Inadequacy, and Power. She is also the author of Connections, a psycho-educational curriculum that helps women, men, and couples develop shame resilience.

An entertainer, hypnotherapist, author, and creative coach, Diane Conway is a pied piper of fun. She has led a popular women's recovery retreat for 20 years and takes sober women on trips where they laugh themselves silly. Diane is the author of two best-selling books, What Would You Do If You Had No Fear? and What Would You Do for Love If You Had No Fear? The title of her upcoming book is Is It Odd or Is It God: Everyday Miracles in Recovery.

China Galland is a celebrated author, teacher, researcher, university lecturer, public speaker, and pilgrimage leader in the United States, Asia, and Europe. She is a professor-in-residence at CARE, the Center for Art, Religion, and Education at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, California, and serves as director of the Keepers of Love and Images of Divinity research project sponsored by CARE. China's sobriety catapulted her into the search for the feminine face of

Sally Palaian, Ph.D., Speaker
Dr. Sally Palaian is a psychologist, educator, life coach, and author. She specializes in the treatment of trauma and addiction, including treatment of addictive disorders surrounding money, food, alcohol and other drugs, sex, and relationships. She also trains therapists to work effectively with clients experiencing financial dysfunction. Dr. Palaian is the author of a new release from Hazelden, Spent: Break the Buying Obsession and Discover Your True Worth. She is an energetic workshop presenter who has inspired countless individuals to envision their future and turn their dreams into reality by making lifestyle and financial changes.
Glenis Redmond, M.A., Speaker
Glenis Redmond is poet, educator, performer, and counselor rolled into one passionate soul. She tells stories with poetry--from her life, her family, her African-American heritage, and her sensitive observations of the world around her--inspiring audiences of all ages. In her workshops and performances, she encourages participants to know themselves and their origin, thereby finding their own inspiration and their own stories. She has released two CDs, Monumental and Glenis On Poetry, and is the author of three chapbooks, Naming It, If I Ain't Africa, and a children's chapbook Word Power.
