Day treatment for young people is available at Hazelden's Center for Youth and Families, Plymouth, MN. Similar to the residential program, the day treatment program provides those who live near CYF the opportunity to attend primary treatment during the day from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and return home each evening. All the facilities and services of Hazelden are incorporated into the day program -- assessment, evaluation, and individualized treatment planning are integral components. Following treatment, continuing care plans and services allow youth the added value of continuing their involvement with Hazelden including access to a full range of mental health services. In order to participate in day treatment, patients must live in a supportive home environment and have access to reliable transportation.
