Mental and Emotional Health Series: Anxiety Disorders

By nature, anxiety disorders are complex. Trauma, life situations, support systems, co-occurring disorders—many factors add to the varying challenges patients face when working to subdue anxiety symptoms. Join training creator and Hazelden Betty Ford's new director of Bellevue Outpatient Programming, Hosia Keene, for the second in a six-part lunch and learn series on mental and emotional health. This session explores the complexities of anxiety disorders and the tools you can use to help clients improve their overall health when living with anxiety.

Hosia Keene

Outpatient director of Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation in Bellevue, WA, Hosia Keene is a licensed mental health and substance use counselor as well as an adjunct faculty member of the Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School. Hosia has provided co-occurring disorder counseling throughout the Pacific Northwest and is passionate about evidenced-based and integrated practices and increasing systemic access to quality care. She sits on national teams working with Enterprise Solutions to develop curriculum and provide counselor education. Prior to joining Hazelden Betty Ford, Hosia was on the founding team of the first outpatient gaming and technology clinic in the U.S.

The Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School of Addiction Studies, provider #1487, is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved as ACE providers. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. Social workers completing this course receive 1 continuing education credits.

Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The Graduate School maintains responsibility for this program and its contents. The Graduate School is an NBCC approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP # 6547, and may offer NBCC-approved clock hours for events that meet NBCC requirements. The ACEP solely is responsible for all aspects of the program. This course has been approved by Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School of Addiction Studies, as a NAADAC Approved Education Provider, for educational credits, NAADAC Provider #77968.
