Join us for our first-ever, standalone Advanced Applications training on the ASAM criteria for youth. This one-day training complements the milestone launch of The ASAM Criteria, Fourth Edition, Volume 2: Adolescents and Transition-Aged Youth.
Go from book to training to real-world application. Our expert-led training focuses on the new evidence-informed, developmentally appropriate guidelines that are developed specifically for adolescents (under 18) and transition-aged youth (16-25). With our training you will learn how to:
- Build practical skills to apply The ASAM Criteria, Youth Volume in real-world settings.
- Engage in interactive, case-based learning designed for clinicians, supervisors, and interdisciplinary professionals.
- Strengthen your ability to make objective, criteria-driven decisions for teens and young adults.
- Consider person-centered care plans tailored for youth and their families.
- Recognize how to apply the prevention dimensional admission criteria to adolescents using substances but that don't have a diagnosis of a substance use disorder.
This training is intended for audiences that conduct initial patient and family assessments and treatment.
We highly recommend enrolling in Youth Core Concepts One-Day Training before taking Advanced Application. You'll gain a comprehensive understanding of The ASAM Criteria Youth Volume principles.
