The Mental and Emotional Health Series for Clients with Clinical Diagnoses is a flexible curriculum that allows you to customize and optimize the care you provide your clients who are diagnosed with a mental health disorder. Drawing on evidence-based approaches including acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), the complete series includes a facilitator guide, ADHD video and workbook, and five other topic-specific workbooks and videos.
Designed for adults who have recently been diagnosed with ADHD as well as those who have known about their diagnosis throughout their lives, the ADHD video helps clients understand the science behind their diagnosis and the role of medication in symptom management. Paired with workbook content and exercises, clients gain insight and strategies related to time-management, substance use, stigma, emotional regulation, problem-solving strategies and healthy life skills.
